EXPECTATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
By design, the educational program at Pilchuck varies from session to session; each new combination of classes, instructors, assistants, and students creates a unique rhythm and energy. To support each session effectively, it is vital that interns exhibit
flexibility both in
spirit and
working responsibility.
Interns are usually selected to attend for two or more consecutive sessions. A schedule will be developed between each person and their supervisor based on the needs of the session program. Schedules will be based on a forty hour week and will vary from week to week balancing times of high program demand with times when the load is light. Individual learning and participation happens during the performance of duties as well as during off duty time when interns are free to experience all aspects of the campus and its programs.
