As a small, arts non-profit, Pilchuck Glass School employs about fourteen year-round staff, but it takes many more dedicated and passionate people to make Pilchuck possible. There are a variety of opportunities for you to be a part of our community and help contribute to the school’s mission.
Our summer program offers a number of technical and professional internships, and also seasonal employment opportunities.
Each spring, an international group of volunteer glassblowers known as the Poleturners Union comes together to take on the ambitious project of creating more than 100 table centerpieces for our Annual Auction. Generously donating their time, this enthusiastic group helps kick off our summer program.
Throughout the year, there are also volunteer opportunities to help with special fund-raising events, act as docents for campus tours, or provide assistance with special projects.
On a select basis, Pilchuck will supervise interns in various aspects of arts non-profit administration as part of degree requirements.
