During the 2018 John H. Hauberg Fellowship at Pilchuck, six artists converged to investigate and document the unique printmaking process of vitreography. Glass plates were etched, engraved, and polished in a variety of ways to hold ink. Editional Research features prints made by the Hauberg Fellows to showcase the possibility of using glass as a tool.
Join us for a pre-release celebration of their forthcoming book that documents these processes alongside a collection of their work on display.

Pilchuck Pride Exhibition: Call for Artist
June 6 - 28, 2019
Call for artists! Deadline to apply is Wednesday, March 27 [11:59 PM, Pacific].
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots in New York City, a pivotal turning point in the gay civil rights movement. Since June 28th, 1970, LGBTQIA+ identifying people have gathered to commemorate their struggles, recognize their successes, celebrate their sexual diversity and gender variance, and advocate for their communities.
“LGBTQIA+ Pride Month,” or what we now simply call “Pride”, is a sensation that takes place world-wide, celebrating the human right to live our truth, stand in the face of adversity, and continue to make strides towards societal liberation.
In honor of Pride, Pilchuck Glass School is hosting a month-long exhibition in June to showcase the LGBTQIA+ identifying members of the glass community!
Deadline to apply: Wednesday, March 27 [11:59 PM, Pacific].
Artists may submit one application per artwork.
All interested artists must apply online via Pilchuck's Slideroom Application, a $10 non-refundable application fee will be applied.
