Cast glass | | | Lada Semecká is recognized as one of the greatest talents in the new generation of Czech artists. She graduated from the Academy of Arts in Prague, where she studied under Vladimir Kopecký. Since then, her work has been included in fifteen group exhibitions, and she has had four solo shows. In 2007, she was an emerging artist in residence at Pilchuck. Interpretations of nature are a key element in Semecká’s work. In her landscape pieces, horizontal layers are configured to reflect the pull of gravitational forces. |
