"It is life that the work comes from." Jeanne Marie Ferraro has been working with glass, painting, and sculpture as a student, teacher, and artist her whole life. She holds an M.F.A. degree from Rochester Institute of Technology and a B.F.A. degree from Kent State University. She also studied painting at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Ferraro was head of the glass studio at Sheridan College in Ontario and a two-time Pilchuck scholarship recipient. She presently teaches at Pratt Fine Arts Center and the Museum of Glass in Tacoma.
