Dave Willis earned a B.A.
from the University of California at Berkeley in 1992 and
began lampworking two years later. He maintains a studio outside
Eugene, Oregon, and works as a teaching assistant for artist
Roger Parramore. He has attended Pilchuck since 1997 as a
student, teaching assistant, and flameworking shop coordinator.
This piece is first in a series addressing ideas about home
in a local, national, global, and personal context. Dave also
creates architectural installations and designs in glass. |
