Carmen Lozar maintains a studio in Bloomington, Illinois. She received her master’s from Alfred University and recently had a solo exhibition at Foster/White Gallery, Seattle. Carmen invents situations that reflect an exploration of all things precious and timeless. She has worked at Pilchuck as a staff member and teaching assistant and received the Saxe Award in 2000.
