Rain Forest captures the patterns,
colors, and textures of the forest in a seemingly simple sculptural
object. Yet, the work is composed of hundreds of pieces of
glass, including aperture-pour design elements. Steven Immerman
has been working in art glass for twenty-five years and exclusively
with kilnformed glass for the last ten. His training has been
a combination of experimentation, study, and multiple comprehensive
kiln-forming workshops. His work has been exhibited in the
Midwest and the West Coast and is held in private collections
throughout the United States.
