Beth Fishman is a Seattle
artist who has been working in glass for the past twelve
years. Her work reflects her talent and skill as a designer
and a glassblower. She uses the dynamic qualities of
glass to express her unique sense of form and color.
Beth received her B.F.A. in industrial design from the
Pratt Institute, in 1989 and her M.F.A. in glass from
the Rhode Island School of Design in 1998. She teaches
glassblowing at Pratt Fine Arts Center and focuses on
Venetian blowing skills and sandcasting
