Avery H. Anderson’s
work is inspired by indigenous cultures and their spiritual
relationships with animals. She has devoted much of
her life to animal causes, and her Vanishing Links series
focuses on the world's endangered species. Anderson
has been working in kiln-formed glass for twenty years
and taught at Red Deer College, UrbanGlass, the Eugene
Glass School, The Studio at the Corning Museum of Glass,
and many private studios. In 2002, she attended Pilchuck
as a scholarship student. She is a studio artist whose
work is exhibited internationally and is represented
in numerous collections.
