Created with Tina Betz’s unique lace technique, this remarkable evening bag utilizes the seductiveness and preciousness of glass to celebrate femininity. Betz earned a B.F.A. from the Tyler School of Art and an M.F.A. from Alfred University. She exhibits her work extensively and is included in many prestigious art collections worldwide. She has been an artist in residence at the Creative Glass Center of America and the Bemis Center for Contemporary Art and was an emerging artist in residence at Pilchuck in 1993. She also attended Pilchuck as a scholarship student and as an artist’s assistant.
