This piece is a part of an ongoing series of blown glass inspired by cubist paintings. Joe Cariati graduated from San Francisco State University in 1995 with a B.A. in glass and sculpture. He attended Pilchuck twice on scholarship and participated as a teaching assistant and an artist's assistant. His work is in the permanent collection of the Museo Italo Americano in San Francisco and the Museum of American Glass.
