This piece deals with human convention and social mores. Pat Bako received her B.F.A. from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2002. She attended Pilchuck for the first time as a scholarship student in 2002 and returned last summer as the cold-shop technician. This year, she was awarded a Harvey and Bess Littleton Scholarship to attend the Penland School of Crafts. Bako has taught coldworking at the Pittsburgh Glass Center, and her work is held in private and public collections.
