Mark Morris, a native of Tacoma,
Washington, has lived in New Orleans for the past three years.
“The City's spirit of openness has helped to broaden
my observations of relationships between people—relationships
I have with loved ones and relationships between others. Olive
Optimism explores these relationships.” Morris has been
a student, teaching assistant, and staff member at Pilchuck
for the past seven years. Most recently, he served as cold-shop
