Bennett Battaile’s background is in math and computer graphics. He began working in glass with Anna Skibska’s class at Pilchuck in 1996. Ring Cycle is a series of eight. Each piece in the series represents stages of this form turning inside out and returning to its original shape. This piece was part of the June 2003 farewell show at the Margo Jacobsen Gallery in Portland.
