Blown glass, reticello technique.

Robin Cass has been a faculty member in the Rochester Institute of Technology's glass program since 1998. She earned her B.F.A. from the Rhode Island School of Design and her M.F.A. from Alfred University. Cass uses a variety of glass-forming processes to create her sculptural pieces and specializes in Venetian blowing techniques. She has been invited to demonstrate, lecture, and teach internationally. Her latest shows include solo exhibitions at the Appalachian Center for Crafts and The Wheeler Gallery in Rhode Island. She also participated in an exhibition of work by American glass educators at the Tittot Museum in Taiwan. Cass has received several grants from the New York Foundation for the Arts and was recently nominated for a Louis Comfort Tiffany Biennial Award.
