Lisa Cerny earned a B.F.A. from the Alberta College of Art and Design, where she currently works as a technician and an instructor. She was a scholarship student twice at Pilchuck and is a veteran member of the Poleturners Union, a group of artists who help create the centerpieces for the Pilchuck Annual Auction. In 2001, Cerny was a fellow at the Creative Glass Center of America at Wheaton Village. Her work has been shown in Canada and throughout the United States.
