Bryce Seidl Elected Pilchuck Board President
Pilchuck
Glass School formally elected its officers for 2003
during its October 16, 2002, annual meeting at The
Westin Seattle. Elected unanimously, Pilchuck’s
officers are:

Dianne Loeb, Vice President

Benjamin P. Moore, Vice President
•
John Price, Treasurer
•
Norman B. Sandler, Secretary

Jeffrey Atkin, Past President
Bryce Seidl, who had
functioned as Pilchuck’s interim executive director
for ten months, officially assumed the office of President
on December 2, 2002, when Patricia Watkinson assumed
her appointment as executive director. Formerly an
executive with Fisher Mills, Inc. and Simpson Paper
Company, Seidl has served on Pilchuck’s board
since 1996. He succeeds four-year Board President
Jeffrey Atkin.
Prior to the annual
meeting, the trustees elected Bruce R. Bachmann (Chicago,
IL), Leonard Klorfine (Philadelphia, PA), David Pollart
(Seattle, WA), and Cheryl Zahniser (Seattle, WA) to
its board. Trustees Manya Drobnack, Robert Ness, Babo
Olanie, Jeannie Pollart, J. Thurston Roach, Joan Stonecipher,
and Michelle Swerland officially concluded their service
as Pilchuck trustees at the October meeting.
